I. Holiness in Our Speech (Colossians 3:17)

II. Holiness in Action (1 Thess. 4:3-12)
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” Titus 2:11-14
“But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.” Ephesians 5:27
III. Holiness in the Church (Ephesians 5:27)
“so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:27

“if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15
Application:
1. Make it your personal ambition to study the attributes and character of God.
2. The priority for holiness should be set by Scriptures and not by expediency.
